Sound-Noise-Environment
The Image, Sound and Cultural Representation Lab of the Cultural Technology and Communication Department, in collaboration with the Greek Society of Acoustic Ecology and the Acoustic Ecology Lab of the Department of Environment of the University of the Aegean, organised the 4th Acoustic Ecology Conference on “Sound – Noise – Environment” at Mytilene, from 3 to 6 November 2016. The basic aim of the Conference was to highlight the multiple aspects and functions of noise in diverse environmental settings (natural, socio-cultural, technological, artistic, educational, etc) and the way to conceptualize them in science and the arts interrelated to acoustic ecology.
